Oh... summer in Maine. How I love that we live in Vacationland! On any given day we can visit the ocean, lakes, mountains, farms, islands, small town villages, cities, theme parks, plus all the fairs and festivals, and be back home for dinner. My head starts spinning with all that I want to do with my family over the summer, and of course, it will all go by so fast.
One way for your children to keep pace this summer is to ground those feet, revive, renew, and breathe on a regular basis. How, you ask? I would recommend YOGA! This summer's yoga classes will all have purpose and intention. We will have fun all while learning how to energize, regulate and relax our bodies. We will be and act out as objects of nature, will experiment with teamwork in partner and group poses, and play with concepts of self, as a unique, special and powerful being in a world with wonderful possibilities. And the coolest part.. we do it all OUTSIDE!
Classes will be held on The Eastern Promenade, next to the Kiley Field ballpark. If the weather chooses not to cooperate, our rain location will be The Heart Opening, so no worries about missing a class!
It is recommended that you register your children for the session because the classes will be progressive, although walk-ins are completely welcome.
